SQL BI Developer
SQL / Azure / Databases / Business Intelligence / Power BI 
Up to £65,000 p/a + Bonus + Benefits

We are looking for someone to join the data tech team and help to turn data into insights and information. 

We need an SQL & BI Developer to help create, develop and manage the SQL architecture, BI and analytics solutions. Using your knowledge of reporting, data models, data processing, development, coding and application support, you will ensure the smooth operation of all applications, reporting and processes that support data and business operations.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in MSBI stack such as SQL Server and SSIS. Azure Cloud technology
• Solid SQL Development and design skills, hands on with programming in SQL.
• T-SQL programming experience
• Excellent working knowledge of data modelling, stored procedures and functions; and of query optimisation and performance tuning.
• Working experience of database administration (indexing, database house-keeping, backup, restore, security)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and Azure data services (ADF, Warehouse, Azure Blobs/Data Lakes)
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL frameworks
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Customer insight)
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SSRS, SSIS

The location 
The company operate a hybrid approach with a mix of home and office-based working. Typically 1-2 days in the office per week, the rest from home. 

Offices are based close to Watford.
