Role: Web Executive
Location: Fully remote – based anywhere in the EU
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 plus bonus and benefits

So you’ve got an EU level website which covers 11 different languages, and are part of a team responsible for developing web assets for all of them.

That’s literally this role in a nutshell.

The business you’ll be joining is in B2B tech. They have a presence across 11 European countries and teams located in each too.

You’ll be part of the company’s brand and comms team, a strand of which has a Web Manager and a couple of Web Specialists, of which you’ll be one.

The team supports with website changes, pulling together assets from various teams across the business including creative and copy. Pulling the various assets together, conducting changes on user interfaces and applying a bit of creative input to bring together the end result. Which are great web pages and digital journeys for customers and prospects alike.

Working on every international site, ensuring consistency and high quality experiences for site visitors. So all features and functions work as they should. Product images are supported by written content, and the visual end result is a good one.

Tools wise, you’ll be using Hubspot as well as CSS, HTML and Javascript. But with the level this role is being appointed at, you only really need a good grounding knowledge of each. As well as a keen eye for assessing content, pulling things together to deliver projects effectively and have a good grasp of some UX principals to appreciate what a good experience looks like for site visitors.

This role has arisen through organic growth. The business has seen consistent demand growth in recent years and this opportunity represents an additional headcount to the team born through an increasing product portfolio creating a larger spectrum of work to support each.

Key Experience

  • Good grounding in HTML, CSS, Javascript and experience with Hubspot
  • Have experience of working with a CMS system, if that’s Sitecore – perfect
  • Great project management skills, pulling various assets together to create web pages from various teams and sources
  • Knowledge of UX principals and what makes a good user experience
  • Have an eye for creative and able to confidently share an opinion on what you feel works and not work in web experiences
  • High attention to detail
  • Some basic understanding of SEO is a plus
