Digital Insight Analyst

LOCATION -         London

SALARY -              £35k - £45k plus 10% bonus & bens

 

THEM

Working in a large Digital Analytics team, and amongst a wider team of 150 which covers insights, data science and data engineering, you will be delivering a wide variety of digital insights analytics projects – this covers various brands within the group, sub brands and a large number of product sets, so your role will be varied, working on data from apps to websites – the full customer lifecycle from initial engagement and subscription through to upsell of further products and services.

The right attitude and ability to learn quickly will be favoured over number of years of experience in this team, so whether you are in your first role or have 3-4 years’ experience, every level will be considered. There is HUGE opportunity for growth and development there, working for the UK’s 2nd biggest user of Adobe Analytics to further upskill using this tool, as well as growing into more senior roles and diversifying your skills working with data from various sources (including offline).

 

So technically you should have experience with Adobe Analytics and SQL, Google Analytics will be considered but those with Adobe will be strongly favoured.

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

  • Educated to at least degree level in a numerate subject; Computer Science, Machine Learning, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or even Meteorology
  • Passionate about bringing data to life, developing insights and recommendations
  • Some experience in building forecasting, machine learning or statistical models is essential whether at University or in a commercial environment
  • Some experience with R or Python is essential, as well as ideally SQL programming skills
  • An understanding of data management, database design and sourcing and connecting data, and ideally some experience of working with large volumes of data (millions of records+)
  • Problem solver, intellectually curious with a high attention to detail
  • A desire to innovative, lead from the front, think strategically as well as commercially around problem solving and how to improve processes and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, etc. and a desire to work closely with others – this is very much a business facing role, in a small team so you need to be confident and comfortable in dealing with stakeholders and peers
