Digital Marketing Executive – PPC
Location: Altrincham, Just south of Manchester – commutable by tram
Office setup – 3 days in office, 2 from home
Salary: Up to £40k base plus pension, healthcare, etc.

You’re going to be looking at acquisition marketing for a B2B financial services firm, principally centred around lending propositions. Responsible for principally PPC, and a healthy budget in excess of £100k per month to deploy and optimise, as well as getting hands dirty with wider Digital Marketing channels.

You’ll be part of the Growth Marketing function and take ownership of the top of the funnel acquisition channels, principally paid search.

This market is fiercely competitive, so being on top of your numbers and ensuring keyword bidding strategies are on point are going to critical to success, especially when optimising ROI. As some of the key terms can be really quite pricey. But as we all know, it’s not just about volumes, but also value. Especially when looking at audience types and ensuring those strategies are delivering the right kinds of audience. So you’re going to want to ensure you’re getting a decent return on that marketing investment.

You’re also going to take ownership of the strategy and execution of their Paid Social strategy too. Helping to decide which social channels to invest in, what bid strategy, ad placement, etc. Effective measurement and optimisation to ensure ROI is delivered here as well. After all, there’s no point generating millions of views with zero conversions.

The last element, and this is largely an ‘exposure to’ point will be CRM. While you aren’t going to be responsible for the day-to-day CRM activities you will get exposure to some of this, and that’s simply because the team is relatively small at the moment, only around 5 people. But it’s growing. So in smaller team environments you tend to get opportunity to gain experience and exposure to other areas from time to time. Especially when supporting whilst others are on annual leave, for example.
