Salary: £60,000 to £72,000 base Benefits: 15% bonus, pension, life assurance and some of the best benefits plans you’re ever going to see, which reduces the cost of your holidays and travel significantly The team you’ll be joining has been established for this global travel brand over the last year. Previously, they outsourced marketing insight – e.g. econometrics, marketing effectiveness, etc. to an external agency. Over this time, they’ve delivered a new econometrics model, established new target objectives for brand marketing, overhauled the companies global segmentation strategy and established the company’s measurement framework for marketing spend across all channels. They’ve also undertaken a lot of internal stakeholder work, bringing teams up to speed on how to use data to ensure ‘best in class’ outcomes. So it’s been a very busy year. But there’s more to do, and a roadmap to deliver against. ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE The current team is still relatively small, as such they approach the work in a ‘divide and conquer’ style, disseminating the work between them. This means, although your role will more typically bias towards campaign evaluation projects, you will organically find yourself getting involved in projects such as econometrics or digital analytics too. Additionally, there’s a roadmap for growth going into 2025 and beyond which could see your role develop into line management. Currently you will begin in a hands-on capacity, owning projects end-to-end, which will include carrying out the analytics and statistical projects through to the story telling side of delivering insight to stakeholders in a meaningful way. But this will evolve as the team continues to grow, and your role moves into becoming a management remit. The company you’re joining has one of the largest marketing spends in the UK, and is also widely recognised as being a home for incredibly creative marketing talent. Over the years they’ve won many a Cannes Award for marketing excellence. Either through innovation, creativity, use of data or all of the above. Your role will be to provide detailed evaluation and performance measurement of those campaigns. Providing a deep understanding of cross channel effectiveness, looking to optimise marketing spend. Ensuring statistical significance and demonstrating impact of recommendations and outcomes. This will include establishing a test-and-learn framework for various econometrics techniques, A/B tests, statistical significance projects, etc. Demonstrating the ability to do so in a robust manner with the appropriate checks and balances in place. Translating the analysis output into compelling narratives and visualisations. Providing cross channel audience insights which can be leveraged into marketing planning and help shape future campaign briefs. You will be engaging with marketing, commercial and wider analytics team communities to collaborate on projects. Ensuring a holistic approach to measurement is embedded to marketing activities. Allowing you to provide consistently high-quality insights from analysis projects. What we’re looking for: An experienced hand in cross channel marketing/media analytics environments. With a thorough technical understanding of campaign evaluation techniques, working with both digital and media data Sound hands-on technical skills with advanced analytics techniques Some experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, as well as things like Python/Excel, etc. Good knowledge of test and learn approaches for marketing and media analytics, e.g. A/B testing, statistical significance, econometrics techniques, etc. Good understanding of data visualisation techniques, as well as story telling skills. Taking the complexity out of analysis findings and providing clear narratives for marketing teams to engage with Collaborative working style, comfortable working in large-scale corporate business environments. Able to orientate and navigate complex organisations. Building stakeholder networks and knowing how to get things successfully delivered. Want to Apply?
