About the role

The team you’ll be joining is part of the overall digital analytics team which is divided into three distinct areas – trading and performance, CRM and loyalty and product analytics.

This role sits in the product analytics team.

As a digital analyst, how would you approach converting a user journey into KPI’s which can be measured?

Although part of the digital analytics function for this massive travel brand, you’ll be aligned to specific product teams, identifying where issues in customer journeys may be occurring. Providing robust insights around what actions need to be taken and how. As well as getting involved in testing and roll out of fixes or new solutions, designing the measurement framework for A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation.

This team and the analysis insights you produce are designed to takes the hassle and pain points out of holidays. From the booking side, looking at homepage and site experiences delivered through the selling funnel.

To pre-departure preparation, for example when you have to upload certain documents to make your journey through the airport friction free.

Or looking at when things go wrong and either a flight or holiday is cancelled, delayed or disrupted in some way. Looking at delivering seamless experiences for customers which make the refund or rebooking processes ergonomic and painless.

You’ll be the analyst digging into the data behind these products and functions. Providing robust, actionable insight which helps these product teams fix, improve or create experiences which makes customer journeys seamless, simple and easy.

They use Adobe Analytics, but also need folks to be comfortable working with complex data environments and using SQL to extract and manipulate data. Often pulling it from various data warehouses.

You’ll be surrounded by peers and seniors who are there to support with anything outside your current comfort zone. Helping to advance your technical and analytical competence, getting you ready for the next step into a senior role. Seen as an SME within the team and taking lead on large-scale, complex projects.

Requirements:

  • Experienced with Adobe Analytics or GA, with a strong understanding of the digital landscape and customer behaviour.
  • Solid SQL coding skills – namely for interrogating multiple data warehouses, pulling data together and manipulating it
  • Some exposure in the application of advanced analytics techniques would be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
