Analytics Consultancy

 

SALARY:          £35k - £45k & benefits

This established, well-respected, customer analytics consultancy are hiring for an Insight Analyst to join their growing team in Central London.

This role is a great chance for an experienced statistical analyst to diversify their skills within a consultancy environment, working with a variety of companies across a number of industries including Financial Services, Retail, Media and Travel. You will be delivering a range of projects for these clients including deep dive, exploratory customer insight analysis, building segmentations, conducting post campaign analysis, developing automated reporting solutions and in turn helping clients to refine customer contact strategies, improve customer behavioral understanding and improve multichannel targeted marketing.

TECH ENVIRONMENT & DEVELOPENT OPPORTUNITIES

You will use SQL heavily, as well as Python and R – but only experience with the former is essential. On the job learning and formal training with my offered on both R and Python for statistical analysis and modelling – a great chance to apply all that theory and practical learn at University, often lost in those first few jobs in industry.

You will be working environment will be dynamic, different and diverse as you spend time on both client sites as well as in the office - ultimately fun, sociable and trusted. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject; Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Science etc.
  • Proven experience using SQL (and ideally R or Python) for programming, within a customer or marketing environment.
  • Experience employing analytical techniques such as cluster analysis, customer profiling, segmentation, data mining, modelling, regression etc.
  • Ideally a background in consultancy or agency, although other industries such as retail, telecommunications, financial services and travel considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to liaise externally with end clients.
  • Passion for the job, strong interest all things customer.
