If you’re looking for a guidebook on how to do your job, with a clear a-z of what’s yours to manage and deliver to. Somewhat like you’d find in a corporate career path. Then perhaps this isn’t for you.

We’re looking for an adventurous marketer. Someone who’s comfortable walking on paths not yet trodden.

Who’s keen to learn and willing to get hands dirty doing so. Taking control of various projects, campaigns and priorities which will see you helping this business to level up their marketing, as they look to build a new team following the launch of a new product line.

You’ll be reporting to the Head of Marketing, supporting on the day-to-day objectives of a performance marketing engine. A lot of this programme needs creating from scratch, including testing and opening up new marketing channels.

This will extend to both on and offline campaigns, supporting with pulling together collateral. Briefing and overseeing agency work. Looking into campaigns in-flight and making tweaks and changes to help improve performance.

There’s going to be a ton of learning opportunity open to you, and the people you’ll be joining are absolutely top-class marketers. So you’re going to be in good hands.

About the company

They’re an established organisation with multiple offices, their product and service offerings are UK only based.

They recently ventured into a new area to extend their service offering. Creating a new revenue stream in the form of pre-paid funeral planning.

This operates similar to many other financial services assurance policies. Taking a recurring monthly income, and in turn provides the desired service upon policy execution.

This type of arrangement has been growing in popularity in recent years, as individuals have been forward planning arrangements so their families don’t have to in times of grief. Plus there’s the added benefit of affordability a pre-payment plan represents too.

About the Team

The team you’ll be joining is newly formed. With you reporting to the Head of Marketing, supporting on the creation and execution of campaigns which drive lead and demand generation, as well as developing a lead nurture programme too, as this is a considered purchase product.

Campaigns will be multi-channel. But a lot needs building and testing, as the programmes will be new.

Funding has been provided by the established firm and it’s backers to support growth. Including a really healthy marketing budget for both on and offline channels.

They already have assets in place, including websites and digital paid media, as well as an active TVC. Plus they’re testing on Facebook.

But there’s lots to do over the coming years to level up from their current MVP state. Improving the sophistication of creative, journey communication, opening and testing new channels, including other direct response marketing channels.

In addition, over this year they’re looking to add additional headcount to the marketing team, building out their digital performance team, and adding analytics support too. So you’re going to be in a good place, with a growing business.
