Role: Senior Digital Analyst
Location: Hybrid working - Central London offices not far from London Bridge twice a week
Salary: Base up to £58,000 plus benefits

Full funnel digital analytics. All customer touchpoints across every digital journey.

That’s what this team deals with on behalf of a global automotive behemoth.

The digital analytics team has been established over the last couple of years. Providing actionable insight and understanding in a meaningful way which enables the business to take action from insight. It’s currently a team of 5, with this being a new appointment, expanding the team further.

They primarily use Google Analytics and the wider Google stack, including Tag Management, tracking and taxonomy.

Running deep dive analytics projects and translating insights into stories which give clear understanding of then what, when, how and why. Including the ‘so what’ with actionable recommendations for what the business needs to do next.

Taking out the complexity of the analytics which sits behind this so it’s fit for consumption by marketing, media, digital and product teams.

Insight projects could centre around a number of different areas, including:

  • Channel effectiveness. Looking at media spend and its impact on audience generation. What that audience is doing and aspects around conversion analysis
  • Digital channel experience. Deep dives into customer journeys. Identifying issues or areas for improvement in the customer experience.
  • Large-scale transformation programmes which are looking to revolutionise more than just the sales side of digital channels for the automotive industry. Extending into a suite of converged solutions as the next generation of connected tech in cars continues to take shape

You’ll become part of a multi-discipline team of over 700 people located both in the UK and across other EU regions. This team is rather unique in how they operate, as well as the scale and complexity of some of the project they’re landing. Most are industry firsts, looking to push the art of what’s possible as this automotive firm looks to revolutionise the industry across many different aspects.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Good solid knowledge of Google Analytics and associated Google tools like Tag Manager.
  • Excellent story telling skills with data. Translating insights into meaningful narratives delivered through presentations
  • Strong skills in setting up reporting, dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or Qlik
  • High level of numeracy and an analytically curious nature
  • Good understanding of marketing and digital data within ecommerce
  • Ideally some experience in mentoring junior analysts
