Business Development Manager – Real Estate

This high-performing, top 100 law firm have multiple offices across the Southeast, including their beautiful head-office in Kent. With many Legal 500 listings over the firm’s offices, it is easy to see how successful and monumental this legal firm is in the UK. This impressive firm works alongside extremely high-net-worth private and commercial clients, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on work/life balance and flexibility for their staff.
 
The Business Development Team are made up of 14 professionals across business development (BD), marcomms, digital marketing, internal communications, and client/data insights. Each of their legal divisions have a dedicated BD Manager and this role will support their real estate division. The division provides development, planning, commercial property, enfranchisement/leasehold and contentious property expertise to various clients including large household names, various landed estates, house builders and boutique retailers.
 
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a professional services environment in a Business Development role. The successful candidate will be experienced in marketing and business development as well as being enthusiastic, influential and results driven.
 
The central duties of this role include but are not limited to:
  • Engaging with all sectors within the firm to promote revenue and profitable growth.
  • Pitching and tendering processes for already existing clients as well as potential clients of the firm.
  • Project manage all aspects of the tender process from initial qualification through to document management and presentation rehearsals, as well as debriefs.
  • Undertaking the overall responsibility of the marketing and business development activities for the firm.
  • Establishing client needs and ensuring relevant fee earners are engages in meeting these needs.
 
Location – Tunbridge Wells (hybrid working available)
Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
