With a friendly and warm team, this firm deal with a high-value clients. This firm are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team in Kent. To take control of Risk and Compliance matters within the firm. The central duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Responding to any regulatory or compliance investigations or enquiries within the firm. The creation and implementation of the firm’s project plans. Handling of complaints. Attending meetings and from time-to-time presenting at them. Performing due diligence for clients. Responding to any reports that may arise regarding suspicious activity. Maintenance and drafting of firm policies and procedures. Quickly and effectively responding to any data breaches. Developing and delivering risk and compliance training for all new joiners. Auditing files, reports, and assessments. The successful individual for this role must have worked in a Compliance role within a Law firm. As well as, having excellent knowledge of regulatory framework and the SRA.
