Role – CRM Campaign Selections Manager
Location
 – Central London office, but will be home based for now, and will offer flexible working post covid
Salary - £50,000 to £55,000 plus benefits

The Role

The seat is vacant, and the business waiting for you to help step into the void to provide CRM leadership to a team of 2, and engage their client on CRM campaign audience selection strategies. As well as manage the day to day operational elements for a European CRM campaign data capability for an automotive giant.

The key tools you’ll be using include SQL, for extract and join statement for list data provided forward by the client. Getting the campaign data ready for deployment into things like mailing campaigns.

As well as Alteryx as the CRM tool for identifying audiences and campaign counts.

You’ll be client facing, dealing with queries coming from country marketing teams - like "how many marketable customers do we have with hybrid/electric cars in x, y or z territory - what channels can we market to them over, etc."

There’s also some light touch work to be done using Alteryx/Adobe Analytics, typically responding to requests from country teams for data and insight. Typically digging in on some campaign performance data, campaign counts or looking at QA of data.

You’ll be sorting out processes and creating campaign workflows. Creating CRM order templates to send to the client’s HQ team for fulfilment.

You’ll also have bi-weekly meetings with the client to talk through upcoming campaigns and scheduling. Resolving any blockers or issues with them, and ensuring process documentation is kept up to date from this.

The Company

They’re a loyalty and CRM data agency, part of one of the largest advertising, media and CRM agency groups in the world.

They’re also really good with how they work with their people, and don’t have ridiculous expectations on working hours, etc. which can happen in agency land.

The people who work for them tend to stay, because they enjoy the projects and the environment itself. There’s some really great people here, and the team you’ll be leading has both experienced and competent talent too. They’ll be looking to you to provide leadership and that next level guidance/strategy and client leadership too. But they’re able to deliver confidently, which frees you up to handle those bigger picture elements.

KEY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

  • Good knowledge of a CRM tool – such as Alteryx or Unica (the GUI translates well) or Adobe Campaign
  • Able to demonstrate experience beyond campaign decisioning and into the thinking behind campaigns. Helping to shape and steer them. Designing customer journeys and how to translate these into technical data briefs
  • Gregarious nature, with solid stakeholder management skills – able to be bridge between business teams and technical CRM data functions
  • Solid pedigree of experience within database management, you know what it takes to create a good data brief
  • Good evidence of contact planning with relevant targeting and segmentations, overlaying customer journeys so customer contact plans are correctly applied
  • Having done the above for a consumer facing brand is important – but experience could have been gained either client or agency side
  • Leadership skills, able to prioritise, support, coach and lead a small team
