Role: CRM Marketing Manager – Marketing Automation
Location
: London based office. Only need to travel there once or twice a week.
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 plus benefits

To cover some of the headlines of what you can expect with this opportunity:

Their CRM platform is Hubspot, they did a new implementation of this back in July last year. Since then they’ve put a lot of the infrastructure and workflows in place and it’s in a pretty decent state.

The company is a B2B SaaS firm, specialising in the MarTech industry. Their core product is used by more than 50% of the World’s biggest brands. But as an offering, the solution is adopted by a broad mix of Enterprise and SMB who are looking to compete in the digital economy.

The team you’ll be joining is growing, having made multiple new hires in recent months. This appointment is a replacement hire for someone who’s decided to make a significant switch in vocation.

They leave behind a well-structured CRM and marketing automation programme which they’ve largely been responsible for creating. The programme doesn’t just cover short-tail or Enterprise, but does a broad mix of nurture programmes as well as in-life and retention comms to a very broad and diverse target audience of business types and sizes.

Primary channel will be email based comms. But in addition to this, when dovetailing with other lead gen and marketing activities, will also include strategic initiatives which will introduce other channels to the marketing mix.

You’re going to find both left and right brain stimulation here, challenging you both creatively and analytically. As you input to content ideas, and even some copy elements too. Plus putting data into the heart of strategic decision making. Using insights from customer behaviour to improve engagement and conversion opportunities as well as decide on targeting strategies, triggers and journey comms.

What’s going to make you a great fit for this opportunity:

  • If you’re pragmatic and methodical. Able to work through CRM processes and are structured in how you approach resolving issues or building new things
  • Have a good appreciation for how CRM fits within the wider marketing and lead generation piece. So could apply that thinking in how CRM works strategically with those other elements
  • If you’re able to handle environments of pace, and don’t rely on other teams to get stuff done. So will typically thrive in a more start-up type space.
  • You’re a positive person and want to be working in a team of similarly minded people

Ideal Experience

  • B2B CRM background and ideally experienced user of Hubspot – although will be interested in Marketo, Eloqua or other MA tools too
  • If you’ve got some HTML coding skills, that will be great
  • You get what fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environments are like and really enjoy that kind of thing
  • If you’ve worked in the SaaS space before, fantastic!

For someone who’s able demonstrate all the skills and experience necessary, the business is prepared to entertain sponsorship too.
