Senior Digital Performance Marketing Executive
6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £45,000 (pro-rata) + bonus and benefits
Location: Tunbridge Wells (2 days per week in the office)

A global professional services firm is looking for a Senior Digital Performance Marketing Executive to join its growth marketing team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

This role sits within a highly performance-driven digital team where paid media plays a central role in lead generation and brand growth. Budgets are increasing and the focus now is on ensuring campaigns continue to deliver strong commercial performance while also expanding into broader brand-led activity.

The position will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail of paid media performance. Someone analytical, curious and comfortable digging into the data to understand what is driving results and where improvements can be made.

The Role

You will be responsible for analysing and optimising paid media performance across key channels including Google Ads and Paid Social.

Working alongside an external agency that manages campaign delivery, your focus will be on interrogating the data, identifying opportunities and ensuring performance targets are met. This means holding agency partners to account, asking the right questions and working collaboratively to improve results.

The role covers both performance marketing and brand activity, with campaigns running across search, YouTube and paid social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Performance Management

  • Analyse performance across Google Ads accounts, including PPC, Performance Max and other automated campaign formats
  • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs such as cost per lead, conversion rate and return on investment
  • Identify optimisation opportunities across targeting, bidding strategies and creative execution

Agency Management

  • Work closely with the agency responsible for campaign delivery and media spend
  • Challenge and validate performance data to ensure activity is delivering against expectations
  • Build a strong working relationship that enables continuous optimisation and improvement

Paid Social and Brand Activity

  • Support campaigns across paid social platforms, particularly Meta and Facebook
  • Contribute to campaigns focused on brand awareness and consideration as well as direct lead generation
  • Analyse results beyond basic metrics, exploring engagement, uplift and overall campaign impact

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Use analytics tools and platform data to uncover insights and trends
  • Produce clear reports that translate campaign performance into meaningful business recommendations
  • Work with internal teams to ensure insights inform future marketing strategy

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys performance marketing at a detailed level and wants to play a key role in improving paid media outcomes.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with Google Ads accounts, including campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Strong understanding of paid search and automated campaign types such as Performance Max
  • Experience with paid social platforms, particularly Meta / Facebook
  • Experience working with or managing external agencies is highly beneficial

Skills

  • Highly analytical with a strong interest in performance data
  • Comfortable getting into the detail of campaign metrics and optimisation opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence partners
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple campaigns and priorities

Working Environment

  • Hybrid working with two days per week in the Tunbridge Wells office
  • One office day will be Wednesday, with flexibility around the second
  • Collaborative marketing team with a strong performance focus

Contract

This role is offered on a 6-month fixed term contract. While the position is initially fixed term, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities depending on business needs.
